I was watching a tv show a couple of weeks ago. Not even sure which show it was. I think it was “Madame Secretary”. Whatever, it was a show I have really never seen before. It just happened to be on at that even time. And I was struck by a quote:

Achievement is often anonymous.

It immediately reminded me of my father. He generally epitomizes this quote. I look behind the curtain of his life and see tremendous achievement. But, he will never win any awards for this. In fact, few people are even aware of what he does. I truly believe he works, not for earthly rewards, but for rewards beyond this earthly home.

He has achieved.
