I just wanted to get this down somewhere, and this seemed to make sense. The whole whirlwind from learning about the possibility of moving to Wichita to actually moving went fast. Generally no idea prior to the summer starting and now, tomorrow’s the first full day of school for the kids and we’re here. We close on our new home in 6 days. Bada bing, bada boom!

May 24 – Phone call with Don
June 13 – Face-to-face interview/tour of factory/visit to store
June 22 – Realtor sends us listing of “the house”
June 23 – 2nd visit to Wichita – look at homes
June 26 – accept position
July 10 – Put FSBO sign in front yard
July 11 – give notice at Pryor
July 14 – Full price offer on the house
July 15 – Last day at Pryor
July 18 – first day at Yoder Smokers
July 26 – Our offer accepted on our new house.
Aug. 13 – Pack up old house
Aug. 14 – head to Wichita!
Aug. 17 – first day of school
Aug. 22 – closing date (scheduled)
Sept. 3 – Move in to new home!
