I spent some time this last week with college students. Love the college lifestyle/environment. Always have. Probably always will. I am working on setting up a new band at Tabor College. We had auditions this week. Well, I guess you could call them auditions. For starters, we have some information that our auditions were sabotaged. Not sure why any of this would matter to those who feel they must chart the course for others. But, I digress…

Several of the students chose not to audition as they felt they needed to “grow up a little and focus on my studies”. Huh? At what point do you all the sudden feel you need to “grow up”? Isn’t college a time to experience different things all in a place where you don’t necessarily have to “grow up”? Man you have plenty of time to grow up! Trust me, in a few years, you’ll wish you didn’t have to be so “grown up”.

Whatever.
