I cannot make myself right with God; I cannot make my life perfect. I can only be right with God if I accept the atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ as an absolute gift.

So, it’s not about praying to God and asking to be right. It’s about laying before the cross in understanding that I can do nothing. Only understand that I must accept. I cannot ask. I cannot do. I accept.
