I’m generally amazed by many stories in the Bile where God used the most unlikely of people to accomplish His work. Even people who aren’t, at least at the time, fully devoted to Him. I take issue with Ozzy because of this. Today, Ozzy says, “the only men and women our Lord will use in His building enterprises are those who love Him personally, passionately, and with great devotion— those who have a love for Him that goes far beyond any of the closest relationships on earth.”
Then why does God use unlikely people so often? If I”m not completely devoted to HIm, does this mean He can’t use me in His “building enterprises”?
I do agree with Ozzy where he goes on to say that we can’t demand how God will use us; God will use us as HE sees fit.
Ok, got it. May not always live by that, but, I got it.
But I still feel that God has, and often does, use(d) the unlikely person to accomplish His work. That person, that situation where the only explanation is God.
