“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Notice how personal that is? The word “you” is mentioned 4 times. Not only is that just general hope, it’s also meant that God has plans forĀ ME. Yes, He has plans for others too, but those are His plans for THEM. I am not to use other’s lives as a barometer for my own. God has specific plans for me.
